About Course BCA
The Online Bachelor of Computer Applications Program is structured for learners who wish to start their career in the domains of Software Development and Testing or Analytics. Online BCA is a three-year program where any learner who has completed plus two from any recognized board can apply. This curriculum is structured and tailored to fill the gap between theoretical learning and practical application by interacting with industry-experts, BCA graduates, tech hiring managers, etc. The curriculum enhances the learners’ in-depth knowledge on Programming languages, data structures and algorithms, Database management, Business Analytics, Machine learning, etc. The learning method of this program includes case studies and projects which provide learners real-life and practical application of concepts and practices.
Towards the end of the three-year BCA program, learners will gain the critical thinking ability to keep pace with the dynamic industrial changes and technological expertise.

Chandigarh University’s online examination system offers online students the flexibility of giving examinations at designated centers or a preferred location of their choice through online proctoring.
Exams for all online programs at Chandigarh University’s are proctored online using cutting-edge technology. Internal and external examinations are part of the exam pattern. Internal (assignments) weightage is 30%, whereas external (end-of-term examinations) weightage is 70%.
Proctoring (at your preferred location): In online proctoring, students need to give their exam at their preferred location, provided the following:
Online Examination Process
- Report 15 minutes prior to your scheduled slot at your designated examination center
- Check your PC and request that the center coordinator provide you with the assigned access key.
- Login and enter your access key to start the exam.
- The examination will start and stop as per the scheduled slot on your admission card.
- If candidate is delayed by 15 or more minutes after the commencement of examination, he/she will not be allowed to take the examination.
Examination Scheme
The question paper will be divided into three parts in the following format:
- Total marks allotted : 100 Marks
- Time allotted : 120 minutes
- Assignment: 30
- External + Internal = Total
- 70 + 30 = 100 Marks
